Aurora University men's cross country runner
Drew Schmitt (Batavia, Ill./Batavia H.S.) has been named
Northern Athletics Conference Men's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week for the third consecutive week.
The AU senior led the Spartans to a 10th-place team finish and was the top finisher from the NAC at the Augustana College Brissman/Lundeen Invitational. His time in the 8K race was 26:20.3 placing him 39
th out of 461 runners.
The next action for Schmitt and the men's cross country team comes on Friday, September 28, 2012, when they travel to Rockford College. Meet time is set for 4:30 p.m. at Prairie Fields Park in Belvidere, Ill.
