The AU men's cross country team won the Regent Invitational at Rockford College finishing with 19 points and 13 runners in the top 16.

Drew Schmitt won the race with a time of 26:38.5 as junior
Jordan Tripp finished second with a time of 27:34.2. Sophomore
Brandon Miller was fourth (27:54.9), freshman
Grady Schroeder was fifth (27:55.3) and junior
Pete Jaros finished seventh (28:21.1) rounded out the Spartans scoring in the meet.

Next action for the Spartan men's cross country team comes on Saturday, October 13 when theyt travel to the Jim Drews Invitational at the University of Wisconsin Lacrosse. Meet time is set for 10:00 a.m. in West Salem, Wis.
