The game remained at 1-0 till the 56th minute when Bermudes scored her second goal of the game, this time she was unassisted.

With three minutes left in the game and AU still holding a 2-0 lead, Bermudes struck for the third time to record the hat trick. The goal marked her 20th of the season with an assist coming from senior Mariah Ziegenbein.

Marian ended the Spartan shutout with exactly one minute left in the game. Sabre Mikaila Johnson tallied the goal to make the score 3-1 Spartans.

With the victory, AU is now 17-2 overall. Next action for the Spartan women's soccer team comes on Saturday, November 9, 2013 in the NACC Tournament Championship. AU will take on the winner of the NACC semi-final contest tonight between #1 Edgewood and #6 MSOE. If Edgewood wins, AU will play at 7 pm in Madison, Wis but if MSOE wins, AU will host at 1 pm on Saturday.
