The Aurora University Spartans hosted Dig Pink Night as the Raiders of Milwaukee School of Engineering visited Thornton Gymnasium. AU went on to win 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-22).
All three sets on the night were tightly contested with the Spartans pulling away late and hanging on to late Raider rally's to secure the wins.
AU freshman
Brooke Pylant led the way for the Spartans with a double-double (12 kills and 10 digs) while
Peyton McKenzie added 10 kills. Senior setter
Lexi O'Boyle had a team-high 20 assists with junior
Destiny Stuersel adding 18 assists.
With the win, AU is now 20-8 overall and 6-2 in the NACC. Next action for the Spartan volleyball team comes on
Saturday, October 18 when they travel to Edgewood College. AU takes on Edgewood at 12:00 p.m. and Augustana College at 2:00 p.m. in Madison, Wisconsin.
