The Aurora University men's tennis team swept the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference contests on Saturday, April 12 defeating Concordia University Chicago 8-1 and Dominican University 8-1.

AU swept doubles action to start the match with the duos of
Ricky Hernandez and Blain Hrovat winning 8-1,
Brian Koski and
Matt Butler won 8-1 and
Jake Lipka and
Tom Asavarachan won 8-5.
In singles, Hernandez won 6-0, 6-1, Hrovat won 6-0, 6-0, Koski won 6-2, 6-0, Butler won 6-1, 6-1, Lipka won 6-1, 6-0 and Asavarachan lost 6-4, 6-4.

In the second match of the day, AU Head Coach
Jeff Schwarz mixed up his doubles combinations with Hernandez and Koski winning 8-2, Hrovat and Lipka won 8-3 and Butler and
Phillip Molley won 8-1.
As action moved to singles play, Hernandez lost at No. 1 singles 6-4, 6-2, while the rest of his Spartan teammates would earn wins. Hrovat won 6-0, 6-0, Koski won 6-2, 6-3, Butler won 6-2, 7-5, Lipka won 6-0, 6-3 and
Michael Hohm won 6-0, 6-0.
With the days sweep, AU is now 3-4 overall and 3-1 in the NACC. Next action for the Spartan men's tennis team comes on
Tuesday, April 15 when they host Rockford University. Match time is set for 3:00 p.m. at Washington Middle School in Aurora, Ill.
