Box Score 2 The Aurora University baseball team traveled to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to take on the Warriors of Wisconsin Lutheran in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference doubleheader. AU would fall 5-0 and 5-2.
Game One

Junior
Cody Love would get the start on the mound for the Spartans and would ultimately give up seven hits, five earned runs and strike out five for the complete game loss.
The Warriors took the early lead when Mattheis singled scoring Day who reached on a error. Wisconsin Lutheran would score four more runs winning the game 5-0.
The Spartans struggled at the plate only being able to convert on three hits.

Senior
Jared Steck would get the start for AU and would earn the loss while striking out two, walking two and allowed three earned runs.
The Warriors took the early lead scoring 5 time in the first four innings.
Sophomore
Rafer Cooley was able to get some momentum going in the top of the fifth inning hitting a double down the left field line which would score
Jared Swain who had reached on an error. AU would trail 5-1 at the end of the fifth inning.
The Spartans would get one more opportunity in the top of the seventth when Danny Walczak singled to right field and then was able to advance to second on a error by the pitcher.
Dillon Popovich would be able to single to center field scoring Walczak. The Spartans would fall to the warriors 5-2.
With the loss, AU is now 9-21 overall and 5-9 in the NACC. Next action for the Spartan baseball team comes on
Monday, April 21 when they host Concordia University Chicago. Game one is set for 1:00 p.m. at Solfisburg Park in Aurora, Ill.
