On a unseasonably chilly Thursday afternoon, the Aurora University women's tennis team fell to the Judson University Eagles 8-1 at Washington Middle School.

Micaela Mascha was the lone AU player to win her match, winning 6-3, 6-4 at No. 2 singles. Fellow freshman
Jordyn Withey went to a tie-breaker set at No. 5 singles but fell 10-3. She dropped the first set 6-4 before winning the second 6-2.
With the loss, AU is now 2-4 overall and remains 2-2 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference. Next action for the Spartan women's tennis team comes on
Saturday, September 13 when they host Alverno College (10:00 a.m.) and Wisconsin Lutheran College (2:00 p.m.) at West Aurora High School in Aurora, Illinois.
