The Aurora University volleyball team traveled to Benedictine University on Tuesday evening and the Spartans knocked off the Eagles in three sets.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The first set was a tightly played contest that went down to the wire with AU prevailing 25-22.
The Spartans jumped out to an early 7-3 lead and never looked back, winning 25-14.
The Spartans ran away to win the third set, taking a 12-3 lead before holding on to the 25-20 victory.
 
FOR THE SPARTANS
Peyton McKenzie led the Spartans with 15 kills.
Emily Lines had a double-double of 36 assists and 12 digs.
Nikki Lofshult had 17 digs.
Alexis Hammond had eight kills.
Hannah Lanasa had eight kills.
 
FOR THE FOES
Erin Wiegand had 13 kills.
Alyssa O'Boyle had three serving aces and six digs.
