In a match-up of two of the top teams in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference men's soccer standings, the Aurora University Spartans and Dominican University Stars played to a 1-1 draw through double overtime on Vago Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Dominican scores first with a goal by Adam Yaghmour off of a throw in that AU failed to clear at 20:53 in the first-half.
Spartan goal was scored by Juan Jahen at 71:40 of the second-half with an assist by Fabian Acosta.
The Stars controlled the tempo in the first half while the Spartans had a majority of the second-half and overtime possession.
 
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
AU picks up a point against Dominican for the first time since the 2007 season, a 1-1 draw also.
Dominican had not given up a goal in six previous NACC matches before playing the Spartans today.
Aurora had six corners on the day while Dominican had seven.

Jahen scored the goal for the Spartans.                            
Acosta assisted on the goal for Aurora.
Arcadio Dominguez led the Spartans with five saves, he played the first-half.
Zach McFarland had two saves in 65 shutout minutes.
