The Aurora University volleyball team traveled to Lakeland College for a key Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match-up with NACC Tournament seeding implications at stake. AU fell to the Muskies 3-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
AU dropped the opening set 25-21 in a back and forth contest that was tied at 21-21 before a final Muskie run.
The second set was also closely played with AU trialing 18-16 before Lakeland pulled away to win 25-18.
After the third set was tied 4-4, AU pulled ahead 11-4 and never looked back before holding on to win 25-23.
The Spartans trailed throughout, falling behind 6-0 but fought back several times including being down one later 24-23 and lost 25-23.
 
FOR THE SPARTANS
Peyton McKenzie had a double-double with 20 kills and 17 digs.
Alexis Hammond had 10 kills.
Emily Lines had 28 digs.
Nikki Lofshult had 14 digs.

FOR THE FOES
Courtney Naser had 13 kills.
Taylor Levitt had 40 assists.
