The Aurora University women's soccer team won on the road in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match-up at Lakeland College behind a dominating performance with the AU defense limiting Lakeland to just two shots over 90 minutes.

HOW IT HAPPENEDThe Spartans dominated the shots in the game, out-shooting the Cougars 22 to 2 with a 16-0 shot on goal advantage.
Hannah Scahill got the Spartan scoring started in the 13th minute with assists from
Nicci Bermudes and
Shayla Fleming.
Bermudes assisted Scahill in the 25th minute for a 2-0 lead.
2:30 later Bermudes found the back of the net, her 21st of the season.
Late in the second-half AU got goals from
Elizabeth Goll (
Alicia Rotolo) and
Samantha McLaughlin (
Kaitlin Im Hof).
