The Aurora University men's soccer team secured the No. 3 seed and a home game in the opening round of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament with a 4-0 win over Rockford University on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
AU opened the scoring at 11:41 with a goal off the right foot of Xavier Ortiz from 25-yards out.
At 36:59, Nick Cataldi dished an assist to Jacob Goehring who knocked in the goal from five yards out.
Early in the second-half, Cataldi scored a goal with an assist from Steven Soderstrom.
AU's Riley Hutchison capped the scoring with a goal at 89:15.

Xavir Ortiz had the game winning goal.
Nick Cataldi had a goal and one assist.
Jacob Goehring had a goal.
Riley Hutchison had one goal.
Steven Soderstrom had an assist.
Zach McFarland had one save in the win while combining for the shutout with Phillip Lewy.

FOR THE FOES
Erik Manriquez had both Rockford shots with one on goal.
