The Aurora University women's soccer team will enter the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference tournament for the ninth straight season. The Spartans finished the 2015 regular season with an 11-7 overall record and 7-3 in the NACC. Aurora earned the fourth seed and will host rival the fifth seed Benedictine University Eagles on Vago Field Sunday, November 1 at 1:30 p.m.

Match-up - The Spartans will take on Benedictine University in the first round of the conference tournament. AU defeated Benedictine in the regular season 3-1.

All-Time NACC Championship History –- AU has won eight of nine season tournaments going back to the start of the NACC in 2006.
- The only other team to win a conference tournament was Edgewood College in 2008.
- AU is 98-4-1 in the past nine seasons in the NACC regular season and 17-1 in the NACC Tournament.
- The Spartans went to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen for the first time in history in 2014.

About the Spartans – - Senior
Nicci Bermudes leads the NACC in both points (65) and goals 29. She is second in the NCAA Division III in both categories.
- Junior
Hannah Scahill is the second leading scorer on the Spartans with six goals and three assists.
- Senior
Lorelei Ritzert finishes up the top three with four goals and two assists.
- Aurora enters as a seed other than the No. 1 or No. 2 for the first time since entering the NACC.

About NACC Opponents – - Edgewood has been the only NACC opponent who has defeated the Spartans in the NACC Tournament which came in 2008.
- Top seeded Concordia Wisconsin went a perfect 10-0 on the season.
- Dominican University (No. 2 seed) and Milwaukee School of Engineering (No. 3 seed) round out the favorites to win the NACC Tournament.

Up Next for the Spartans –With a victory over Benedictine, the Spartans would travel to Mequon, Wisconsin to take on #1 Concordia University Wisconsin. Game time is set for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4.
