The Aurora University men's cross country team finished with the highest placing in the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional meet in school and Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference history. The Spartan men finished 13
th out of 38 teams.
Three Spartan runners went below 26:00 minutes for the 8,000 meter race, with junior
Alex Duncan placing 67
th with a time of 25:49 as the top Spartan finisher. "I felt like I was in control during the whole race," said Duncan. "This race had been built up so much as one of the most important in our program's history, which helped me stay focused when preparing for the race."
