The Aurora University women's basketball had their win streak snapped at North Park University on Wednesday night, falling in the non-conference match-up 58-52.

HOW IT HAPPENEDAfter trailing early 4-0, AU went on a 10-0 run to take a six point lead.
AU would hold on to the lead after one period, 12-11.
The teams traded leads in the second period and went into halftime tied 22-22.
North Park led for most of the third period but AU used a 4-0 run in the final minute to pull within one at 40-39 after three periods.
After grabbing a 44-42 lead on a three-point basket from
Bethany Dorrington, AU went cold from the field.
The Spartans by just three with one minute to play, 53-50 but the host Vikings went five of six from the free throw line down the stretch to win.

FOR THE SPARTANSBethany Dorrington had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Mallory Cast had 13 points.
Anna Roszkowski had eight points and 11 rebounds.
Kelly Evers had seven points and nine rebounds.
