For the fourth consecutive year, the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships Trophy is headed back to the AUrora University campus. The AU women dominated throughout and finished with an impressive record setting day at the two-day NACC Championships. The Spartans led 86 to 50 after day one and blew away the competition on day two to win by 188 points with 324.5. Out of the 21 events that make up the NACC Track Championships, Spartan women won 13 of those events.
AU won four of the five major NACC Championship awards with junior Talia Sheeldo being named the NACC Athlete of the Meet, senior
Emily Paull being namd NACC Track Athlete of the Meet, freshman
Deterrica Simpkins was named Freshman of the Meet and Head Coach
Ryan Chapman was the Women's Coach of the Year. Sheedlo, Paull and Simpkins won the awards with their performances in their events.
