The Aurora University Men's and Women's Track and Field representatives at the 2015 NCAA Division III Championships had a second straight strong showing on Day One in Canton, New York at St. Lawrence University.
Four individual Spartans competed on the day with three of the individuals,
Kalmon Stokes,
Bobby Cooks and
Loretta Johnson advancing from the preliminary rounds and will compete for individual All-American and NCAA Championship honors.
With the three Spartans on day two adding to the day one advancers, the Spartan track and field program will be represented in seven events on the final day of the 2015 Championships.

Men's Track and Field
110 meter hurdles
Bobby Cooks finished second in his heat with an AU and Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference record time of 14.29. He will run in the 110 meter hurdle NCAA Finals on
Saturday, May 23 at 1:05 pm (Aurora time) with a chance for an individual NCAA Championship and All-American honors.
400 meter dash
Kalmon Stokes finished fourth in his heat with a time of 48.24. He will run in the 400 meter NCAA Finals on
Saturday, May 23 at 1:25 pm (Aurora time) with a chance for an individual NCAA Championship and All-American honors.

400 meter dash
Loretta Johnson finished third in her heat with a time of 56.24. She will run in the 400 meter dash NCAA Finals on
Saturday, May 23 at 1:15 pm (Aurora time) with a chance for an individual NCAA Championship and All-American honors.
100 meter dash
Deterrica Simpkins finished fourth in her heat with a time of 12.41. She finished 14th overall.
