The Aurora University men's soccer team collected their second shut out victory of the season on Saturday afternoon, shutting out the visitors from Hope College 2-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Spartan junior Ben Edith got the scoring started 8:10 into the game with an assist coming from Alberto Bustamante.
Just before halftime, 11 seconds, AU junior Kyle Pierson found the  back of the Hope net for a commanding 2-0 lead heading into the halftime intermission.
 
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
The Spartans out shot the Dutchmen 17 to 11.
Both teams had three corner kicks on the day.
The teams entered the day on the back end of back-to-back contests.
 
FOR THE SPARTANS
Goalkeeper Zach McFarland had six saves in the shutout victory.
Edith led the Spartans in shots with four and one goal.
Pierson had one goal.
Bustamante had one assist.
 
FOR THE FOES
Sam Barthel had seven saves on the day for the Dutchmen.
William Bennink had three shots.
