For the first time in the 2015 season, the Aurora University women's soccer team did not come out victorious in a contest as they traveled to Hanover College on Saturday, September 12 and lost 5-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Hanover took a 2-0 lead in the first half behind a pair of goals from Anna Cornacchione.
Hanover added two goals from Cassidy Evanson that was sandwiched around an AU goal from sophomore Kaitlin Im Hof.
Hanover's Elaine Simpson capped off the scoring with a late second-half goal.
 
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
The Spartans had 12 shots (one on goal) and Hanover had 25 (five on goal).
Aurora had four corner kicks and Hanover had five.
 
FOR THE SPARTANS
Im Hof had the lone AU goal.
Nicci Bermudes led the Spartans with five shots.

Cornacchione and Evanson each had two goals.
