The Aurora University volleyball Spartans made quick qork of the visiting Alverno College Inferno in Thornton Gymnasium on Wednesday night. Winning in three sets in just over one hour, 25-14, 25-15, 25-19.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Spartans take the first set 25-14 after dominating the second half of the set.
The Spartans take the second set 25-14 after leading the entire set.
The third set was a neck and neck but the Spartans pulled away late to take it 25-19.
 
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
The Spartans had a positive hitting percentage in all three sets.
Five Spartans had a .308 hitting percentage or higher on the night.
 
FOR THE SPARTANS                                                      
Peyton McKenzie led the Spartans with 12 kills and had two serving aces.
Destiny Stuersel had 18 assists to lead the Spartans.
Karissa Chernick led the Spartans with 10 digs.

Melissa Weyand led Alverno with 10 kills.
Meranda Masse had 22 assists for the Inferno.
