The Aurora University men's soccer program hosted the Eagles of Benedictine University Wednesday afternoon on Vago Field. The well played contest found the Spartans prevail 2-1.

HOW IT HAPPENEDThe Spartans scored early in the first-half when
Jordan Schure struck a volley at the 1:13 mark.
The Eagles evened the score right before halftime when Nick Kapetanos scored with an assist by Cristian Michalowski at 43:11.
The Spartans took the lead back early in the second-half when
Angel Barajas scored off of a penalty kick at 56:25.
Nick Cataldi was pulled down in the box to draw the PK.
