The Aurora University men's soccer team lost to the University of St. Thomas 2-0 in the home opener Tuesday afternoon on Vago Field.

SHOW IT HAPPENED:St. Thomas was first on the scoreboard with an early goal from Jamie Collins (2:56). A defensive battle took place for most of the game until the Tommies were able to get one more goal past the outstretched arms of AU goalkeeper

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:There was a combined six yellow cards between the Spartans and the Tommies.
AU only had one corner kick while the St. Thomas had five.
AU was out shot 17-6 and was held to one shot in the second half.

Xavier Ortiz record the only shots on goal for AU.
McFarland had four saves.

FOR THE FOES:Jamie Collins and Miles Sotckman-Willis both scored for the Tommies
