Yet another ranked opponent was on the ice with the Aurora University Spartans as they traveled to Duluth, Minnesota to take on the College of St. Scholastica Saints. AU fell to the Saints 5-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
St. Scholastica scored two minutes into the game.
AU tied the game at 16:20 of the first with Anthony Pnewski lighting the lamp. Tim Santopoalo and Rihards Marenis each had an assist on the play.
A pair of power play goals for St. Scholastica in the opening 2:40 of the second put AU down 3-1.
Another Saint goal in the final minute of the second sent AU down 4-1 through two periods.
The home Saints added another goal in the third for the eventual 5-1 final score.

Anthony Pnewski had the AU goal.
Tim Santopoalo and Rihards Marenis had an assist each.
Jared Rutledge had 45 saves.

Josh Hansen had two goals.
Cole Golka had two assists.
