The Aurora University men's track team had their best performance of the indoor season so far by placing second out of five teams at the 2016 Tadd Metzger Invitational at Carthage College. The Spartan Men had a bevy of first place finishers and personal records across the board.
A few noteworthy performances include that of sophomore
Bobby Cooks who (yet again) won the meet and set a personal, school, and NACC conference record in the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 7.57. Junior
Miroljub Marin placed first overall in the 600 meter race with a time of 1:25, senior
Brian Rudelich notched another victory to his season placing first overall in high jump with a mark of 1.95m (6'4.75")
