Coming off a bye week, the Aurora University Spartan football team took out their stored up energy on the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors, rolling to a 48-13 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The first quarter began slowly with not much action until the end when the Spartans offense came to life with two touchdowns in the final two minutes.
Spartan
Connor Olson scampered 77 yards for the first score.
After the defense got the ball back with a stop, the first [play of the ensuing drive,
Geron Rogers hit
Danny Logiurato for a 50-yard touchdown.
Wisconsin Lutheran put in the next touchdown late in the second quarter before Aurora scored again to close out the half.
The AU score once again followed a pair of long plays with
Brian Bohr plunging one yard for the 21-7 AU lead.
The second half was all AU with two third quarter touchdowns in the third quarter and two in the fourth before Wisconsin Lutheran scored the final touchdown.
The first score of the second half was again off a big play with Rogers hitting Logiurato for 42 yards and the score.
The next AU possession, the Spartans went 33 yards in nine plays after a poor WLC punt set them up with great field position,
An eight play 70 yard drive found the end zone at the start of the fourth quarter when Rogers and Logiurato hooked up for the third time, this time from 18 yards.
A fumble recovery by the Spartan defense set up a 23 yard touchdown run from
Cody Lane for the final AU score.

Connor Olson led the Spartans with 11 carries for 136 yards and a touchdown.
Geron Rogers went 10-21 passing for 191 yards and three touchdowns.
Danny Logiurato had six receptions for 135 yards and three touchdowns
Kam Dawtyne had eight tackles on the day and one was for a loss.
Brendan Fulton had an interception on the day.
