HOW IT HAPPENED
AU scored the first goal of the day just five minutes into the game.
Beth Robbins scored her first of the season and the day on an assist by
Madison Howe.
Right after scoring their first goal the Spartans hit two shots off the post in the following possession, just missing breaking the game wide open early.
In the 21
st minute, Robbins struck again, this time on a header with the pass coming from Hannah Schaill.
The Spartans dominated the first half with the two goals from Robbins and allowed no shots for the Warriors.
Robbins scored her third goal of the day for a hat trick off of a penalty kick in the 52
nd minute.
Wisconsin Lutheran in the 60
th minute on a beautiful played ball from 20 yards out.
Late in the game both
Jasmine Ascencio and
Hannah Scahill scored back to back goals to put the Spartans ahead for good, 5-1.
