The Aurora University women's volleyball team took on Dominican University in a key Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match-up on Tuesday night in Thornton Gymnasium. The Spartans defeated the Stars 3-1 and in doing so clinched a spot in the upcoming NACC Tournament.

The victory clinched a spot for AU in the upcoming NACC Tournament.
Emily Lines had a double-double with 43 assists and 12 digs.
Katie Vondra had a double-double with 13 kills and 19 digs.
Rachel Martens had nine kills and five blocks.
Peyton McKenzie led all players with 15 kills.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The first set was a very close one with many lead changes and ties. The Spartans won by two, 27-25.
The second set was close until the Spartans opened up a lead near the end to win 25-20.
The Stars respond by taking the 3rd set with a late run to win it 25-22.
AU started the fourth set with a 7-0 run and this momentum carried them to win 25-13.
