The Aurora University women's soccer team hosted the Cougars of Concordia University Chicago on Wednesday afternoon on Vago Field. Spartan Alexis Bejarano converted on a penalty kick in the second half to life AU to the 1-0 NACC victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The teams played to a 0-0 draw in the opening 45 minutes.
Just over five minutes into the second-half, AU forward Alexis Bejarano drew a foul in the box and was awarded a penalty kick. She buried her shot past the diving Cougar net-minder for the 1-0 lead.
The Spartan defense and goalkeeper Caitlin deRuiter made the slim margin stand as they collected a 1-0 shutout win.
