The Aurora University men's soccer team celebrated senior day and went on to easily defeat the Muskies of Lakeland University 7-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After honoring the large class of senior Spartans prior to kick-off, it was a senior who put AU on the scoreboard first. Ben Edith lit the lamp from 10-yards out in the ninth minute with an assist from Collin Foreman.
In the 31st minute, senior Nick Cataldi found himself create some room against the Muskies and blistered a shot past the goalie for a 2-0 lead.
Following the restart of play, Lakeland came right down and pulled within one at 2-1.
The score would remain 2-1 heading into halftime.
Early in the second-half, Edith and Cataldi connected for the third AU goal. Cataldi with a cross and Edith headed it into the net.
That goal started an AU on-slaught as the Spartans scored four more times with goals coming from Collin Foreman, Xavier Ortiz (Foreman assist) and Alex Gordon twice with assists from Cataldi and Edson King.
