The Aurora University women's volleyball team hosted the Spartan Triangular on AU Homecoming 2016 and swept the day, defeating Rockford University 3-0 in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match-up and then defeated North Park University 3-0.

AU senior Peyton McKenzie was recognized before the game for surpassing 1,000 kills in her three years as a Spartan and then hit .813 with 13 kills in 16 attempts and no errors.
