HOW IT HAPPENED
The Spartans got off to a slow start in the first quarter but used a pair of three's from
Alyssa Brems to cut into the deficit and trailed by four (13-9) with just over two minutes to play.
At the end of the first, AU trailed 18-9 and 37-13 heading into halftime.
The Spartans would out score Cornell 16-15 in the fourth quarter to finish the night on a high note.
