The Aurora University men's basketball team took on No. 13 North Central College on Friday afternoon. The Spartans shot very well from three-point range but that was not enough to overcome the Cardinals as AU fell 88-78.

HOW IT HAPPENED
A little over five minutes into the game, AU led 14-11 after a three from Tyler Carlson.
AU would trail heading into halftime 47-37.
With 14:43 left in the second-half, AU pulled within three (56-53) behind a three from
Jovonn Griffin.
That was the closest AU would get in the second-half yet they stayed within close striking distance.
AU would fall 88-78 as the final horn sounded.
FOR THE SPARTANS
Pat Kramp had 17 points behind five-of-six shooting from three-point range.
Jovonn Griffin had 16 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
Tyler Carlson had 14 points, going four-of-six from three-point range.
Max Vickers had 12 points and four rebounds.
