The Aurora University men's basketball team fell behind early but rallied to defeat the Lakeland University Muskies in Wisconsin on Saturday afternoon.

FINAL SCORE: Aurora University 90, Lakeland University 79
LOCATION:  Woltzen Gymnasium - Plymouth, Wisconsin
RECORDS: Aurora University 4-2 overall and 2-0 in the NACC; Lakeland University 1-5 overall and 1-3 in the NACC.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Spartans saw Lakeland jump out to an early 8-2 lead.
AU answered with a 20-4 run to take a 10 point lead (22-12) with 10:55 left in the first-half.
Maintaining a double digit lead for most of the first-half, AU had their largest lead of 14 on a Devin Flowers dunk with just over a minute to go,
AU led 40-32 heading into halftime.
The Spartans build a game high 15 point lead on numerous occasions in the second-half and never led by fewer than seven.
AU would win 90-79.

FOR THE SPARTANS
Jovonn Griffin had 22 points, five rebounds and four assists.
Ty Carlson had 18 points on three-of-three from three-point range and had six rebounds.
Pat Kramp had 16 points and five rebounds.
Marcus Myers had 15 points four rebounds, four assists and three steals.
AU shot 59.1 percent (13-22) from three-point range.
