Spartans drop hockey series to MSOE

The Aurora University hockey team took on MSOE Raiders in game two of the series on Saturday night. AU fell in game two by a 5-1 score.

HOW IT HAPPENED
MSOE scored 7:43 into the first period.
Less than one minute later AU scored to get on the board. Patrick MacDonald tallied the goal with assists from Raurie Petrich and Ron Lindgren.
MSOE scored a pair of goals in the second period and added two more in the third for a 5-1 final score.
 
FOR THE SPARTANS
Patrick MacDonald scored the lone AU goal.
Raurie Petrich and Ron Lindgren each had an assist.
Griffin Strain had 38 saves.
 
FOR THE FOES
Nick Kohn had 29 saves.
