HOW IT HAPPENEDAU opened the first half with the first two goals, both scored by
Andrea Colford with an assist from
Chloe Madison.
Concordia responded with four straight goals to take a lead right at the midway mark of the first-half.
The Spartans scored their third and final goal of the first-half with 13:51 left to play on a free position attempt from
Kenny Hughes.
The Falcons scored the remaining four goals of the half and took an 8-3 lead into halftime.
CUW scored the first two goals of the second-half to increase their lead to 10-3.
Madison and Hughes would score a goal each over the next two minutes but those were sandwiched around two Falcon goals.
Midway through the second-half, the Falcons led 13-5.
Trailing 15-6 with over 15 minutes to play, the Spartans tallied the final three goals of the game but could not overcome the CUW lead and fell 15-9.

Andrea Colford had three goals and an assist.
Chloe Madison had one goal and two assists.
Allee Samuel made seven saves in goal.
