The Aurora University Spartans got back on the diamond after a weekend of wash outs and fell in a pair of NACC contests at Concordia Chicago, 10-0 and 10-6.

HOW IT HAPPENED
With two outs in the first, Concordia got three straight hits, capped by a three-run home run to lead 3-0.
Concordia added two more in the second and third innings, one in the sixth and two more in the seventh to enact to 10-run rule.
The Spartans managed two hits in the game.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS
Dillon Popovich was two fo five with two home runs, two runs scored and two runs batted in.
Mike Cherven was three for four with a double and one run scored.

HOW IT HAPPENED
AU got on the board first with a solo home run from Dillon Popovich in the top of the first.
Concordia took advantage of an AU error in the second to tie the game 1-1.
The Spartan bats woke again in the fourth as they produced four runs on five hits and took a 5-1 lead.
Popovich struck again in the fifth inning with a solo home run and the Spartans led 6-1.
In the bottom of the fifth though the Cougars plated seven runs on six hits and AU trailed 8-6.
Concordia would add two more runs and won 10-6.
