The Aurora University women's lacrosse team used a second half rally to defeat the Eagles of Benedictine University 13-10 on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED- BU scored the games first two goals and led 2-0 3:02 into the game.
- After AU's
Danielle Morgan scored the first Spartan goal nearly nine minutes into the game, BU went on a 4-0 run to lead 6-1 with eight minutes to play in the opening half.
- AU would score three times in a 3:30 span to cut into the BU lead.
- Benedictine scored twice to push their lead back to 8-4 before
Rachel Cochran scored the last tally of the first half.
- AU trailed BU 8-5 going into halftime.
- The Spartans came out of halftime and ran off a 5-0 run with goals from
Kenny Hughes (3) and
Andrea Colford (2), giving AU a 10-8 lead.
- AU's defense was dominant as well, not allowing a BU score until just over 11 minutes remained on the game clock.
- After AU ended the 5-0 AU run, Hughes scored twice more with
Chloe Madison adding a goal of her own.
- As the clock ticked under two minutes, AU led 13-9. BU scored a goal with just over one minute to go but that would conclude the scoring as AU out-scored the Eagles 8-2 in the second half for the win.
FOR THE SPARTANKenny Hughes had seven goals.
Chloe Madison had one goal and four assists.
Andrea Colford had three goals and one assist.
Allee Samuel had eight saves.
