The Aurora University men's lacrosse team played a home game on Vago field Sunday against Cornell College. The Spartans controlled the game and captured a dominating victory 24-3 over the Rams.

When the first quarter was over, AU led 9-0 and was 10-of-10 in face-offs, controlling all facets of the game.
By the 10:22 mark of the second quarter, Spartan
Trevor McNamara had seven goals and would finish the day with two more.
AU led 16-1 at the halftime intermission.
Much of the same was in store in the second half as AU played all dressed players and went on to win easily 24-3.

Jason Koziol had two goals and three assists.

AU dominated at the face-off dot, winning 27-of-31 face-offs.
The Spartans were also nearly perfect in clears, going 27-of-29.
