For the fourth time in as many years the Aurora University men's lacrosse team advanced to the NCAA Division III Championships, this time in dramatic fashion as they defeated Albion College 12-11 in overtime.

- AU scored the games first four goals of the game with scores coming from
Jason Koziol,
Sam Hiss,
Matt Smidlein and
Matt Sammarco.
- Albion scored their first tally of the day at 13:24 of the second.
- The Spartans got a pair of man-up goals from
Ben Arends and
Trevor McNamara to lead 6-1.
- Albion scored the final goal of the half and AU led 6-2 going into halftime.
- The teams traded goals in the third quarter with AU getting all three goals from
Jason Koziol.
- Albion scored early in the 4th and AU only led 9-8.
