The Aurora University men's soccer team hosted Wheaton College in a non-conference tilt on Vago Field. The teams played to an exciting, high paced 2-2 draw through double overtime.

HOW IT HAPPENED
AU scored the first goal early in the game (13th minute) from
Ben Edith on an assist by
Oscar Suarez.
The rest of the first half was back and forth with a few scoring opportunities but no shots found the net.
The second half started with Wheaton scoring an early goal by Cedric Kamaleson
The Spartans responded quickly with a goal from
Nick Cataldi assisted by
Ben Edith less than five minutes later.
Wheaton missed a wide open shot high above the AU net with 24 minutes left to play, the goal would have tied the game.
The Thunder scored the last goal of the game late in the second half on a long run and pass to the front of the net.
The teams played a scoreless pair of overtime sessions for the draw.

AU had 20 shots on the day nine of which were on target.
The Spartans held a 10-6 advantage in corner kicks.
