The Aurora University women's volleyball team concluded the opening tournament at Elmhurst College with a 3-1 loss to UW-Lacrosse and a 3-0 victory over Cornell College to open the season with a 2-2 record.

HOW IT HAPPENED
AU saw UW-Lacrosse use a 9-1 run early in the game to defeat the Spartans 25-18 in the opening set.
The Spartans used several three and four point runs throughout the second set to defeat Lacrosse 25-18.
In the third set, AU jumped out to a quick lead but saw Lacrosse rally late to win the tightly played set 25-23.
AU once again led early in the fourth set but a furious set of rallies by Lacrosse led to AU falling 25-15.
