HOW IT HAPPENED
AU trailed 3-0 after the first period as Northland tallied the three goals in the final 5:25 of the opening period.
Down 4-0, AU got on the board at 5:22 of the second when Luke Picek scored his first as a Spartan and was assisted by Logan Hudson.
Northland added three more goals in the second and a pair in the third for the 9-1 final score.
