The Aurora University men's basketball team led the entire game as they easily defeated the Eagles of Edgewood College 102-80 on Saturday in Madison, Wisconsin.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Just over three minutes into the game, AU led 9-1 behind four points from
Marcus Myers.
Eight straight points from
Jordan LaGrone were followed by a
Justin Galusha three to give AU an 18 point lead with 9:23 left in the first-half.
The 15-2 run by the Spartans pushed the advantage to 22 points (39-17).
On several occasions the Spartans expanded their lead to 25 points in the first half before heading to halftime up 22 at 54-32.
Edgewood opened the second-half on a 9-3 run to cut the Spartan lead to 16.
A 9-0 AU run behind three's from Myers,
Ty Carlson and
Max Vickers pushed the Spartans lead back to 25.
The Spartans held their largest lead at 29 points (76-47) when
Pat Kramp drained a three with 11:50 to play.
AU held a comfortable lead for the remainder of the game and coasted to a 22 point victory at 102-80.

Five Spartans scored in double figures.
Marcus Myers had a game-high 23 points with seven rebounds and seven assists.
Ty Carlson had a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds while adding five assists.
Jordan LaGrone had 16 points off the AU bench.
