Spartans hook Muskies 11-0

The Aurora University women's soccer team made quick work of the Lakeland University Muskies on Sunday afternoon. A cold wet day welcomed the teams as they squared off following a previously scheduled contest was postponed due to lightning. AU scored early and often to win 11-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Spartan Corynne McEachern scored four goals in the opening 9:13 of the game and AU led 4-0. She was assisted on goals by Alexis Abelove and twice from Alicia Rotolo.
- AU's Jessica Ortiz then tallied the next two goals as she was assisted from Anessa Munoz and Mariah Dorsey.
- Munoz then scored in the 19th minute, her first of two goals with the second coming in the 56th minute.
- Spartan Anni Wilson collected her first and second collegiate goals in the 29th and 40th minutes.
- AU took a 9-0 into halftime.
- In the second-half AU added the Munoz goal in the 56th minute.
- The final goal of the game came in the 57th minute off the foot of Alexis Abelove. She was assisted by Jessica Ortiz.
