An offensive explosion was on display at the Spartan Athletic Park on Wednesday night as the Aurora University women's soccer team coasted past Alverno College 10-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU gained possession to start the game and if not for a diving stop by the Alverno goalkeeper, AU would have led less than 15 seconds into the game.
- A turnover deep in Alverno territory that was picked up by Corynne McEachern was quickly converted into a goal as McEachern scored just below the cross bar 1:12 into the game.
- At 2:51 into the game, Alexis Abelove scored her first of four on the night off an assist from Jessica Ortiz.
- Alicia Rotolo (assists from Abelove and Beth Grotelueschen) and Abelove scored in the remaining time in the first-half.
- AU led 4-0 heading into halftime.
- Six goals were produced in the second-half as the Spartans easily won as they allowed just one Alverno shot on the night.
