An offensive explosion was on display at the Spartan Athletic Park on Wednesday night as the Aurora University women's soccer team coasted past Alverno College 10-0.

- AU gained possession to start the game and if not for a diving stop by the Alverno goalkeeper, AU would have led less than 15 seconds into the game.
- A turnover deep in Alverno territory that was picked up by
Corynne McEachern was quickly converted into a goal as McEachern scored just below the cross bar 1:12 into the game.
- At 2:51 into the game,
Alexis Abelove scored her first of four on the night off an assist from
Jessica Ortiz.

Alicia Rotolo (assists from Abelove and
Beth Grotelueschen) and Abelove scored in the remaining time in the first-half.
- AU led 4-0 heading into halftime.
- Six goals were produced in the second-half as the Spartans easily won as they allowed just one Alverno shot on the night.
