The Aurora University women's volleyball team made quick work of the Wheaton College Thunder, winning in three easy sets, 25-7, 25-18, 25-11 in a non-conference match-up.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Trailing 4-3 in the opening set, AU finished on a 22-3 run for the easy 25-7 set win. The Spartans had five serving aces in the set including three straight from
Rachel Martens midway through.
- AU again fell behind in the second set, trailing 7-3 before quickly battling back to tie the set 8-8. AU grabbed the lead and saw Wheaton attempt to come back before the Spartans scored the final four points for the 25-18 win.
- The third set was knotted 5-5 before an 8-0 run for AU gave the Spartans a lead they would not relinquish before winning 25-11.
- The Spartans hit a fantastic .419 on the night with 43 kills to just seven errors on 86 attempts.
- AU added 11 serving aces in the match.
