The Aurora University women's hockey team continued making history by capturing their first win in program history by a score of 2-0 over Northland College on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- With 58 seconds remaining in the first period AU scored the would be game winner on a power play that led to an unassisted goal from Nicole McKernan.
- AU led 1-0 at the end of the 1^st period.
- 14:28 into the 2^nd period the Spartans padded their lead with a persistent goal, which after multiple shots the puck found the back of the net courtesy of Lexie Martinez.
- AU led Northland College 2-0 at the end of the second.
- In the 3^rd period the Spartans preserved the 2-0 lead without allowing a goal led by goalkeeper Becca Binder.
- AU defeated Northland College 2-0 to capture their first win in program history.
