The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament semifinal round between the No. 2 Spartans of Aurora University and the No. 3 Edgewood College Eagles was on tap in Thornton Gymnasium Thursday night. AU was victorious 3-0 and advances to the NACC Tournament Championship for the second consecutive season at Concordia Wisconsin.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU led early and forced a quick Edgewood timeout in the first set, leading 7-1.
- The Spartans continued to lead, building a 10-point lead twice 18-8 and 19-9.
- AU won the opening set 25-16.
- The second set started off much the same as the opening one with the Spartans building an early 6-0 and forcing yet another early Edgewood timeout.
- AU coasted to an easy 25-17 second set win.
- The third set saw Edgewood lead for the first time all night, 1-0.
- The Spartans regained the lead quickly and never looked back, enjoying a 25-18 win.
- With the 3-0 win, AU moves on to the NACC Tournament Championship for the second consecutive season at Concordia Wisconsin.
