The Aurora University men's basketball struggled in their final contest before the 2017 Christmas break, falling 104-80 at Albion College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU led 13-10 six minutes into the game behind eight points from Justin Wierzgac.
- Albion went on a 26-5 run over the next 10 minutes to lead AU 36-18.
- A Matt Dunn lay up got the Spartans within 11 late in the first-half but AU went into halftime down 50-32.
- The Spartans came out cold to start the second half and quickly found themselves trailing, 73-42.
- AU went on to fall to Albion,104-80.
