The Aurora University Spartan men's basketball team returned to action on Lancaster Court in Thornton Gymnasium against Wisconsin Lutheran College. AU was anything but polite hosts as the Spartans scored 71 first-half points before walloping the Warriors 120-90.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU trailed early 6-0 just 1:!5 into the game.
- A 14-4 Spartan run got the offense running and AU led 14-10 with only 4:13 played.
- With 13:18 to play, AU trailed 21-20 but a
Nick Chambers three ball started a tremendous run.
- That three started a 13-0 run with AU now leading 33-21 with 9:28 to play.
- An 18-1 Spartan run took a seven point lead to a 24 point lead (55-31) with 3:51 to play.
- The Spartans continued to pour it on as they finished the first-half leading by 33 at 71-38 following a
Chris Mahoney three.
- AU kept a significant lead in the second-half and held the largest lead when Michael Finley hit a pair of free-throws with 9:21 to go. The Spartans 100th and 101st points gave them a 35-point advantage at 101-66.
- The Spartans went on to coast to a 120-90 win.
